Inside Line Promotions – GERMANTOWN, Tenn. (May 23, 2019) – Sammy Swindell will make his season debut behind the wheel of the A.G. Rains owned No. 3 this weekend during the first four USCS Speedweek races.

The team took the car out once this season to shake it down, but the races this Friday at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Miss.; Saturday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark.; Sunday at Old No. 1 Speedway in Harrisburg, Ark.; and Monday at Lexington 104 Speedway in Lexington, Tenn., will mark the first time that Swindell and Rains will compete together in 2019.

“If Greenville Speedway is the track I’m thinking about I won my first race there in my third night out,” he said. “That was in 1971. We won the modifieds track championship there that year. It’s probably been since 1973 since I’ve been there.”

Swindell has also been victorious at Riverside International Speedway and at Lexington 104 Speedway. Sunday will mark his debut at Old No. 1 Speedway.

Swindell and Rains captured seven feature victories together last season.

The duo also raced in the final three USCS Speedweek events last year, winning one and placing second in the other two.

“I think we’ll be in good shape,” Swindell said. “We’ll throw it out there and then if we’re close we’ll just fine-tune it.”
