Six O'Reilly USCS drivers honored by top 25 positions in NSCHOF Driver of the Year poll

Atlanta, GA - Six drivers who competed regularly with the O'Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series were honored with finishes in the top 25 positions in the 2005 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame North American 360 sprint car Driver of the Year poll. Honored by the voting panel of eighteen promoters and media members were 2005 O'Reilly USCS National Champion, Kenny Adams from Malabar, Florida who finished in second place in the poll that chooses the ranked drivers from approximately 3000 drivers in North America.
The Four time O'Reilly USCS National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee who finished third in the O'Reilly USCS standings was ranked eighth in the poll and 2005 National Championship runner-up, nineteen year old Danny "Hammer" Martin, Jr. from Sarasota, Florida was ranked ninth. Ranked thirteenth in the poll was seventeen year old Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. from Olive Branch, Mississippi who won three times in the tough O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder division and contended for that title. O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder hotshoe, Kevin Swindell from Germantown, Tennessee won five times in the highly competitive O'Reilly USCS paved oval competition was ranked seventeenth in the poll and 2005 O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder (pavement series) Champion Wayne Reutimann, Jr. from Zephyrhills, Florida.
Additionally, 2005 O'Reilly USCS Mid South Thunder Tour runner-up Mike Ward from Memphis, Tennessee who won three times in that series received honorable mention in the poll as one of the top 41 drivers ranked in North America.
Additionally, Kevin Swindell was named NSCHOF 360 sprint car "Rookie of the Year" and Danny Martin, Jr. was honored by the poll members as the 2005 NSCHOF 360 sprint car "Wild Card" driver of the year for his outstanding performances during the 2005 season.
