Atlanta, Georgia - The O'Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series will hold it's 2nd annual (2006) pre-season FREE luncheon meeting at FSR Racing Products at 1995 Thomas Rd., Memphis, Tennessee 38134 at 11 am. on Saturday, February 25th. The meeting will be to formally announce the 2006 O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour schedule and it's awards program.
The meeting will also serve to clarifiy rules and to discuss things such as the race and points system formats. At this time series Founder, Pete Walton and series officials will be available to answer any questions pertinent to the upcoming season and it's 30+ night schedule of events. Additionally, Walton will detail the new 40 race O'Reilly USCS Dirt Cup (all dirt track) National series.
Walton said," We will once again treat the attendee's to a FREE lunch and just like last year FSR will have some specials on their products. It's an important meeting and we would invite all teams, drivers and car owners to attend.
The first O'Reilly USCS Mid-South Thunder Tour event is the 1st annual Hooker Hood Sprint Car Shootout set for April 14-15th at Garnertown Speedway in Luray, Tenn. www.garnertownspeedway.com The event will honor legendary open wheel driver Clarence Hooker Hood from Memphis, Tennessee.
