Sides leads O'Reilly USCS National point standings after Volusia

Jason Sides from Bartlett, Tennessee sits atop the current O'Reilly USCS National point standings after two nights of dirt racing at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Sides won the 10 th Anniversary O'Reilly USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour 25-lap season opener on Monday night February 6 th and finished in third place on the following night to tally 296 points. Dustin Daggett from Portland, Michigan who won the O'Reilly USCS 25-lap feature event on Tuesday, February 7 th trails Sides by just four points in second place with 292 points. Wayne Johnson from Knoxville, Iowa with two top five finishes is third with 286 points.

Travis Rilat from Forney, Texas trails in fourth with 284 points after finishing eighth on night one and rallying for a second place finish on night two after starting sixth. Four time O'Reilly USCS champion Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee is fifth with 282 points via a second place on night one after an eleventh place start. Gray finished in ninth place on night two after starting tenth.

Mike Chadd from Lincoln, Nebraska is sixth in the standings, Sam Hapertepe from, Sunnyvale, Texas is seventh. 2005 O'Reilly USCS Championship runner-up, Danny Martin, Jr. from Sarasota, Florida and Brock Mayes from Bucyrus, Ohio are tied in the eighth spot. The 1999 O'Reilly USCS Dirt National Champion Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas and USCS young gun Tom Winegardner, Jr. from Pierson, Florida are tied for tenth position as well.

Defending O'Reilly USCS National Champion Kenny Adams from Malabar, Florida is down in thirteenth place with 252 points after having a driveline problem end his night on lap twenty-three while leading the feature. The second night Adams garnered a respectable sixth place.

The next opportunity for the O'Reilly USCS winged outlaw style sprint car drivers to gather National points will be at Five Flags Speedway www.fiveflagsspeedway.com in Pensacola, Florida on Friday night March 10 th . The series then moves it's “Million Dollar Thunder” Tour over 80 miles to Mobile International Speedway www.mobilespeedway.com in Irvington, Alabama on Saturday night March 11 th for the final night of a paved oval double-header.
