Garnertown Speedway Spring 100 is inaugural event for new USCS Open Wheel Modified series

Atlanta, GA - The March 16-18th Garnertown Speedway Spring 100 (50 Lap OWM feature) is set as the inaugural USCS Open Wheel Modified event. Although the entire schedule has not been announced, this will be one of at least twelve events of racing for the new USCS Open Wheel Modified series at Garnertown Speedway www.garnertownspeedway.com located in Luray, Tennessee with the season finale scheduled almost eight months later at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on November 10th and 11th.
The three day Garnertown Spring 100 event includes an open practice session on Thursday evening (3/16/) from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Then action picks up at 8:00 pm on Friday night (3/17) with 2-lap time trial qualifying for the mighty Modifieds with a $250 top prize posted for the fastest time, plus the twelve lap semi-final races on Friday night that will lock in a portion of the field. Saturday night's action will include a $100 to win six lap Power Dash for the first six cars from Friday night plus the B-Main (s). The weekend's Grand Finale is a 50 lap A feature on Saturday night (3/18) paying $2500 to win for the USCS Open Wheel Modifieds.
USCS Series Founder and President,Pete Walton said, "This will be the largest Open Wheel Modified purse ever competed for and the most laps ever raced in the Open Wheel Modified division at Garnertown Speedway. Additionally we have posted a clean sweep bonus of $250 to any driver who can win the time trials and their semifinal on Friday night, then win the Power Dash, and 50 lap A feature on Saturday night. With the lap leader money it could push the winnings for one driver to $3350, concluded Walton.
