A Pre-season meeting to detail and inform those who are considering racing in the Street Stock and Hummer (Hummer Cup) classes at the historic Garnertown Speedway www.garnertownspeedway.com in 2006 has been set for this coming Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 7 p.m. at the Old English Inn in Jackson, Tennessee. Garnertown Speedway will host at least 16 races in each of these divisions in 2006. A finalized schedule for the 2006 season of Sensational Events will be announced and distributed at the meeting.

The meeting will be geared toward announcing the full details for the special events planned for the Street Stock and Hummer (Hummer Cup) classes. There will be an announcement of a 2006 Grand finale for the Street Stock division at the meeting as well.

There will also be information available and discussion of the special events and details for the new USCS Open Wheel Modified series that will sanction all special events at Garnertown Speedway for the open Wheel Modified class. If any Open Wheel Modified teams cannot attend the OWM pre-season meeting in Memphis they may get the USCS Open Wheel Modified literature and info in Jackson at 7:00 p.m.

The first event at Garnertown Speedway will be the Garnertown Spring 100 on March 17-18th. Qualifying time trials and semi-final qualifying races for the USCS Open Wheel Modifieds and a full program for the Street Stocks and Hummer Cup Cars will be on Friday night. Saturday night will feature the finals, including the Power Dash, B-Main(s) and 50 lap feature for the USCS Open Wheel Modifieds and the Street Stock and Hummer Cup Cars will contest another full racing program. There will be an open practice session at Garnertown Speedway for all area classes on Thursday, March 16th from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
