Hooker Hood Sprint Car Shootout now $2499 to win plus possible bonuses

The 1st annual Hooker Hood Sprint Car Shootout at Garnertown Speedway www.garnertownspeedway.com in Luray, Tennessee this Friday and Saturday nights just got more rewarding. In honor of the great open wheel driver hooker Hood whose cars generally bore the number 99, the O’Reilly United Sprint Car Series www.uscsracing.com has raised the first place paycheck to $2499. In addition to this and to bring more excitement to the grand finale on Saturday night, passing bonuses up to $999 have been posted for the winner of the A-Main event.
Any sprint car driver starting on the second row or farther back will be awarded a bonus if they can win the Saturday night O’Reilly “USCS Salute to Hooker Hood” sprint car 30 lap finale. To win the race from a row two start position will also pay an extra $299. A winner starting on the third row gets an extra $399. If you can win it from row four it would add an additional $499 to your envelope at the pay window. If, any driver can win the Saturday night O’Reilly USCS sanctioned “Salute to Hooker Hood” 30 lap A-Main event from row five or deeper in the field, they will be awarded an extra $999 for their efforts.
The payout for the two day event including a full racing program for the sprint cars on Friday night, makes it possible for one driver to collect $5199 over the two nights for a sweep. It is also possible to collect $2600 in the new USCS Open Wheel Modified series which is on the card both nights as well for a clean sweep.
