Gray in familiar spot at the top of the O'Reilly USCS National standings.

Atlanta, GA - Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee leads the 10th Anniversary O'Reilly Auto Parts United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour national point standings after ten events. Gray is also the points leader in the all pavement O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder series and the O'Reilly USCS Dirt Cup all dirt track standings. The veteran driver who is a four time national champion in the series has also tallied the most points in the Southern Thunder and Carolina Thunder regional series.
Twenty-year old Hoosier Tire Young Gun, Danny Martin, Jr. from Sarasota, Florida who was the runner-up for the National crown in the series for the past two seasons is in second place with 1386 points. Martin has eight top ten and five top five finishes. Martin also has a feature win at Golden Isles Speedway on April 22nd to his credit. In third place in the standings with 1348 points and less than 20 per cent of the events completed is sixteen year-old sprint car phenom Matt Tiffany from Daytona Beach, Florida with four top five and seven top ten finishes. Tiffany has finished in the runner-up spot twice already this season.
Defending National champion, Kenny Adams from Malabar, Florida is in the fourth spot with 1338 points after grabbing two feature wins and four top-five feature finishes. The standings would probably look quite different if it were not for the fact that Adams has dropped out of five of the ten events while either leading or challenging for the lead in second place after suffering uncharacteristic mechanical woes.
2005 O'Reilly USCS Rookie of the Year, twenty year-old Bryn Gohn from Malabar, Florida and another twenty year-old Hoosier Tire Young Gun Tom "TJ" Winegardner, Jr. from Pierson, Florida are tied for fifth in the standings with 1312 points apiece. Gohn who also had mechanical gremlins in some earlier events has six top ten finishes to his credit. Winegardner, Jr. has two top five finishes and has finished in the top ten five times.
Tom Winegarner, Sr. from Pierson, Florida is ranked in seventh place in the O'Reilly USCS National standings with 1190 points. Winegardner who is the team-mate of his son, Tom Winegardner, Jr. is in the top ten in the standings in five of the six O'Reilly USCS National or regional categories. 1999 O'Reilly USCS Dirt Cup National champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas is tied for second place in the Dirt Cup points and is is eighth in the National standings with 832 points. Nineteen year-old Ryan Myers from Eaton, Ohio is ninth in the National point standings with 806 points but is in second place in the O'Reilly USCS Asphalt Thunder standings. Myers has four top-five finishes in six events all coming in the pavement events he has competed in. Nineteen year-old Stephen Darvalics from Venice, Florida rounds out the top ten in the National point standings and has a top five and four top ten finishes to his credit thus far with his best finish a fourth place at Golden Isles Speedway on April 21st.
The O'Reilly USCS is back in action on dirt at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia this Saturday night May 20th . The event will award National points as well as O'Reilly USCS Dirt Cup points and awards regional points in the Southern Thunder division too.
