Martin grabs O'Reilly USCS Garnertown Speed Spectacular loot
Luray, TN - Danny Martin, Jr. from Sarasota, Florida lead all 30 laps of the O'Reilly United Sprint Car Series portion of the Garnertown Speedway Labor Day Speed Spectacular on Sunday night to collect his fourth O'Reilly USCS www.uscsracing.com feature win of the year. Martin started outside of the front row after also winning the Butlerbuilt Second Heat Race next to fifteen-year-old rookie standout, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas who won the Engler Tool and Machine First Heat Race.

Mike Ward from Memphis, Tennessee followed Martin home after challenging the 20 year-old in lapped traffic. 1999 O'Reilly USCS Champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas raced home third followed by four-time series titlist Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennnessee and 19 year-old Lee Sowell from Nesbit, Mississippi rounded out the top five.
The O'Reilly USCS National rookie points leader Hagar lead the second group in sixth with Paul Hart from Troy, Tennessee in seventh, Tom Winegardner from Pierson, Florida was eighth, Phillip Faulkner from Atoka, Tennessee was ninth and Henry Gustavus from West Memphis, Arkansas rounded out the top ten.
Terry Gray was the Huggins Cams Hardcharger for the event and also picked up the win in the 6 lap Lucas Oil Power Dash. Hagar was the Robison Racing Products Rookie of the Race.
