Jim Perricone and the JBMotorsports team flew in for the first two nights of the 2015 USCS Sprint Speedweek starting at Jackson Motor Speedway in Mississippi. Jim got to the track 30 minutes prior to hot laps after flying in from Atlanta. The car was good early but the heat the track with dry up. Jim would start second row in his heat but the car was very loose and just was not tightened up enough to progress forward. Jim was set for the second B main. A poor start by a rookie in front Jim and Ronny Howard had both cars scrambling not to crash. Unfortunately, the flag man never threw the yellow and with a whole straight away lead and angry over no yellow, Jim went after them. With everyone running the bottom Jim and Ronny put their cars right on the top of the track and ran the fence. Both cars worked their way back into contention but ran out of laps to make the transfer. A great setup and car was probably fastest in that B main but disappointing that we did not transfer. Sunday at Greenville Speedway was rained out and this was the teams 5th rainout of the year. Tough start to the year. Jim will be back in competition for the Kings Royal in July.
