BLANKENSHIP BLISTERS USCS FIELD FOR SENOIA RACEWAY WIN

SENOIA, GA – Saturday, August 9, 2025 -

Tyler Blankenship of Bakersfield, CA drove the dominate car on Saturday night at Senoia Raceway, as he scored a clean sweep of the United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour Presented By Hoosier Racing Tire event. Blankenship won the 30-lap Feature Race, the six-lap Hoosier Racing Tire Speed Dash, and the eight-lap Engler Machine & Tool First Heat Race.

Hayden Martin of Olive Branch, MS followed up his Friday night USCS win at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA with a second-place finish in the Saturday night Senoia race and also had a win in the eight-lap Schoenfeld Headers Second Heat Race.

USCS point leader Dale Howard of Byhalia, MS started eighth and finished third to earn the Wilwood Disc Brakes Hard Charger of the Race Award for the second straight night. Chase Howard of Nesbit, MS was fourth, and Lance Moss of Cherryville, NC took the fifth spot. The 16-time USCS National Champion and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductee Terry Gray of Bartlett, TN was sixth.

Ethan Jones of Sarah, MS took the seventh spot and fourth generation driver P.J. Reutimann of Zephyrhills, FL finished eighth. Kyle Connery of Vero Beach, FL was ninth and Jeff Willingham of Ripley, MS rounded out the top ten.
The action was fast and furious in the opening laps. Chase Howard took the lead at the drop of the green flag followed my polesitter Blankenship, Jaden Bowling of Holden Beach, NC, Martin and Moss. Bowling got a two for one pass on lap two to take the lead. Blankenship passed Chase Howard for second on lap three.

Bowling led for three laps before suffering an engine failure stopping on the track and bringing out the races only caution flag on lap five.
Bowling's misfortunes put Blankenship on the point, with Martin, Chase Howard, Dale Howard, and Moss in the top five for the restart.
The race went caution-free the rest of the way with Blankenship driving away from the field.

The Howards battled for the third spot in lapped traffic with Dale Howard getting by Chase Howard for third on lap 24.

Blankenship had an 11.774 second margin of victory under the checkered flag over Martin. Blankenship set a fast pace and lapped up to the fourth-place car of Chase Howard as the 30-lap Feature Race was completed in nine minutes and 44.243 seconds.

The next two races for the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour Presented By Hoosier Racing Tire will be at Clayhill Motorsports Park in Atwood, TN on Friday night, August 15 and Saturday night August 16.
