Howard took the lead from Hayden Martin of Olive Branch, MS on a lap ten restart.
Martin led the first nine tours, but had to settle for second, and third went to Lane Whittington of Denham Springs, LA. The three eight-lap Heat Races were won by Conner Wray of Olive Branch, MS in the Engler Machine & Tool First Heat, Martin in the Schoenfeld Headers Second Heat, and Kyle Connery of Vero Beach, FL in the Butlerbuilt Third Heat.
Martin took the lead at the start of the race followed by Wray, Howard, Connery and Whittington. Wray dropped to sixth on lap four, moving Burtron into the top five. Wray hustled back up to third on lap six after Connery dropped out with Whittington in fourth and Moss moved up to the fifth spot.
The caution flag came out on lap eight when Dakota Whittington spun in turn two. The top five for the restart was Martin leading Howard, Wray, Lane Whittington, and Moss. The red flag was displayed on the tenth lap when Jan Howard of Marion, AR flipped.
The restart saw another red flag when Wray flipped over the top of Moss taking off his wing and collecting 16-time USCS National Champion and National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductee Terry Gray of Bartlett, TN and Witherspoon. Wray and Gray were done for the night, but Moss and Witherspoon were able to restart.
Dale Howard took the lead from Martin on the restart, and by the halfway point of the race, Moss, who had restarted on the tail end of the cars on the lead lap, had worked his way back up to the fourth spot. Howard led the rest of the way to take his 33rd USCS career win.
