Brooks Strength wins USCS Outlaw Modified Series 2021 opener at Hattiesburg on Friday
Hattiesburg, MS - February 26, 2021 - The K&N pole starter, Brooks Strength from Raymond, Mississippi out drag raced NASCAR veteran and dirt track modified hot-shoe Ken Schrader from Fenton, Missouri into turn one on lap one of the 25 -Lap K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modified Series presented by RockAuto.com main event and never looked back for a career-first USCS win in the Season Opener for the USCS series that restarted after a three year break in the USCS Outlaw Modified Series action.
Schrader had several opportunities to challenge the Mississippi top gun, but, had to settle for a runner-up position finish. He was followed by Mississippian Greg Hollingsworth in third place. Chris Smith from Petal, Mississippi crossed under the checkers in fourth place and Chad Shivers from Prentiss, Mississippi rounded out the top five drivers.
Chad Shivers' charged from a tenth place start into fifth place at the finish garnered him the Wilwood Disc Brakes Hard Charger Award.
